WHY SHOULD YOU BUY FROM US VERSES A RETAIL JEWELRY STORE?
Solid 18K chains are prohibitively expensive and are too fragile to wear every day. Jewelry stores offer pre-made chain at ‘standard’ sizes, and charge again to adjust that size if needed! Once purchased, you’re on your own. You get a custom-made chain which fits perfectly, at a fraction of the price. Our chains are made from the same gold as theirs…but the advantage of the layering process is it also adds to the strength of the chain, reinforcing the 18K gold and making it durable enough to wear every day.
WHAT IS GOLD PLATED, SOLID GOLD, AND GOLD LAYER/FILLED CHAINS
Gold plated is not gold jewelry. Gold plated is usually made of a base metal like copper, with a thin layer of gold applied over the copper. The gold plating can easily be removed by merely wiping it with a few strokes of an eraser. The copper is another reason your skin turns green, which is why we cannot recommend it for everyday wearing.
Solid gold is the highest in price and purity when it comes to shopping for gold. Due to the solid gold purity; it will not fade or tarnish over time. Since solid gold is also considered a soft gold, it is not recommended for everyday wearing. Surprising, solid gold is not always recommended when it comes to your everyday jewelry accessories.
Gold layered, also known as gold-filled, is what we recommend for everyday wearing. Gold layered will not break your pocketbook and nearly fits everyone's budget. What makes gold layered so popular, it keeps the solid gold appearance in color. Our gold layered jewelry is made using electricity to deposit multiple layers of 18k gold over a jewelers brass. Because of this, there is a .009% chance of an allergic reaction to our chains.
Our 18k gold layered jewelry has one other property which competitors don't have, a product called Acryseal. Acryseal is our patented sealer, which keeps our gold layered jewelry from fading over-time and looking bright in color.
Use warm water and a mild soap-based detergent to clean your gold layered or sterling silver jewelry. Soaking your jewelry chain for no more than a minute. Never use a tissue or any other paper-based material to clean the pieces. Always pat the jewelry dry with a lint-free cloth.
HOW DO YOU MEASURE YOUR CUSTOM GOLD JEWELRY?
BRACELET:
Use a flexible measuring tape and measure just above the wrist bone. Add ¼ to ½ inch to this measurement depending on how snug you like your bracelet to fit. If you do not have a measuring tape you can use a cord and measure it flat on a ruler.
NECKLACE:
You will need a mirror you can stand in front of and a soft flexible tape measure or a string.
Place the tape or string around the back of the neck where a neck-chain would sit. Take your time and adjust the length as it hangs in a gentle oval until it sits where you want the neck-chain to hang. Hold the string at this point and measure it to see how long it is, making sure that fingers in the way do not skew the length. If using a tape measure, look at it in the mirror to see the length or mark the spot with your finger, remove from the neck and record the length you need. FOR A PENDANT CHAIN, hold the string/tape in a gentle V? shape to simulate the weight of the pendant. Adjust the length until the base of the V? sits just above where you want the pendant to sit on your chest.
FOR THAT SPECIAL MAN IN YOUR LIFE:
If you are looking for a gift for your man, here is what we recommend.
For a small built gentleman, an 18” necklace would work best.
Medium man 20” necklace
Large build man 22” necklace
XLarge build 24” necklace
ANKLETS:
Anklets are a popular choice for Inch of Gold purchases. In our experience over 95% of women cannot find a perfect fit with a pre-made anklet anywhere.
Measure the widest point of your ankle around the ankle bone with the tape measure going straight around (not dipping low to one side or the other). Add 1 inch and send us this measurement. This will give you an anklet that sits just below the ankle, but not too low to catch on a shoe.

Yes, sterling silver does tarnish. This is a natural reaction the metal has with chemicals in the air. Frequent light polishing with a polishing cloth designed for sterling silver will help minimize tarnish.
Items plated with 14K gold, rhodium, or ruthenium (gunmetal) are extremely tarnish resistant.
